# ​All guests are now required to check-in by QR code scanning (this a Qld Gov requirement).
# ​This is completed by scanning our QR code via the Check-in Qld Government app on arrival.


We have also completed a Qld Health:

​​* Short term rentals and short term accommodation
(for example, serviced apartments including holiday rentals, holiday accommodation or hosting accommodation provided through online booking platforms)
  • * No more than one person per 4 square metres for sleeping areas.
  • * One person per 2 square metres for common areas open to, or used by guests.
  • * Facilities must only allow the number of persons permitted under the specific booking, letting or rental agreement for the premises or part of the premises to remain there overnight.
  • * Facilities that offer shared bathroom or shared kitchen facilities to persons staying at the facility must also have a health management plan and must operate in compliance with the health management plan.​

OUR COVID-19 CLEANING PROCEDURES

COVID-19 SAFE PROCEDURES
Keeping our guests safe is important to us.
We have implemented the following:
  • Surfaces throughout the home are cleaned then sanitised with disinfectant to kill viruses, bacteria and germs.
  • We ask guests to open windows to allow fresh air to circulate through the property during their stay EXCEPT when using the ducted air conditioning.
  • Disposable cloths and/or paper towels are provided to use for cleaning during your stay.
  • We disinfect kitchen brushes and use disposable sponges.
  • Soft furnishings, lounges, chairs, tables, bench seats and carpets will be disinfected using a spray.
  • Anti-bacterial handwash and sanitiser is provided to guests.
 
NEW Procedures prior to check-out:
  • Bedding & linen – we ask guests to please strip beds and place dirty linen into laundry bags we provided to guests on arrival.
          This includes towels, bathmats, hand towels from the
          bathrooms and tea towels from the kitchen please.        

 PLEASE NOTE:
  • Please do not shake dirty laundry as this will minimise the possibility of dispersing viruses into the air.
  • All linen, towels, bathmats and tea towels, etc., will be machine washed & sanitised at 60°C.
  • Mattress/pillow protectors, pillows, duvets, cushions etc. will be sprayed with disinfectant and/or rotated with a clean set between guests.
  • The washing machine will be sanitised, either at a high temperature or with a chemical disinfectant to prevent the growth of germs.
  • Guests are asked to please put their waste in a tied plastic bag and dispose of it in the external outside bin.
 
Bathrooms:
Every surface in the bathroom will be disinfected including:
  • Sinks
  • Taps
  • Tiles & floors
  • Toilets – flush handles, seats and lids
  • Toilet brush
  • Shower
  • Any leftover toiletries will be disposed of
  • Soap dispensers
​Cleaning Equipment:
  • Vacuum cleaners
  • Cleaning supplies & equipment
  • Dustpan, brush and brooms
  • Laundry basket
  • Peg basket
  • Laundry Trolley
  • Washing machine and dryer

It is important that all guests comply with procedures to keep all us safe. We do appreciate your efforts to do this during these uncertain times.
